About the author Corinne Mills
Corinne is the Managing Director of Personal Career Management, the UK’s leading career coaching and outplacement company. She has worked as a career coach for the last 13 years and has worked with thousands of individuals to help them move into their target roles.
Before career management, she worked in senior HR roles so she understands the recruitment process from both sides of the interview table. She is the career expert for The Guardian, and Telegraph and regularly appears in the national press including the FT and Sunday Times as well as industry journals and lifestyle magazines. She is also a regular on BBC television and radio, Sky and CNN as well as guest speaker at industry conferences. She is chair of her local Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development committee.
Corinne’s early career was somewhat different. Until the age of 26, Corinne worked as an actress in theatre and television and was the lead singer of a punk rock band. An interesting career change!
